As Head of Legal Advisory – Retail Banking will lead legal
support for the bank’s Retail Banking, Branch
Banking, SME, Auto Loans, HR, and ttb Affiliates.
This role involves overseeing legal counsel, drafting, and negotiating
agreements, managing legal risks, and ensuring compliance with regulations,
while collaborating with business units to support strategic goals and enhance
customer experience.
Job Description:

Lead
legal guidance for Retail Banking, Branch Banking, SME, Auto Loan, and
Corporate Functions, including counseling, drafting non-standard agreements,
and preparing legal documents.

Supervise
legal documentation and counsel for affiliates (e.g., ttb Broker, ttb Consumer,
PAMCO), ensuring compliance with bank policies.
·
Develop
strategies to mitigate legal risks from customer actions and regulatory claims,
ensuring compliance with laws and supporting the bank's strategic goals, with a
focus on digital customer experience.
·
Analyze
legal issues, assess their impact on business processes, and drive improvements
to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
·
Monitor
new laws and regulations, lead action plans, and guide business units on
compliance and implementation.
·
Contribute
to special projects initiated by the Bank of Thailand (BOT) or government
entities, ensuring legal compliance.
·
Lead
and mentor the legal team, optimize performance, and improve operational
efficiency.
·
Ensure
legal handling of customer complaints complies with laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
·
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in
law.
·
At least 5 years of experience in
Legal Advisory within banking or financial services, with a minimum of 5 years
in a leadership role, managing a team of 10-15 staff.

In-depth knowledge of banking
laws, regulations, and industry best practices, particularly in retail banking
operations.

Proven track record of drafting and
negotiating complex retail banking agreements and legal documents, ensuring
accuracy and legal soundness.
·
Strong analytical
ability to assess legal risks, propose solutions, and make sound decisions.
·
Excellent interpersonal
and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with
diverse stakeholders across the organization.

A proactive, results-driven
approach to problem-solving, with a focus on achieving practical and legally
sound solutions.
·
Ability to handle a fast-paced
work environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
·
High ethical standards and a
commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all aspects of legal work.
·
Proficient in Microsoft Excel,
PowerPoint, and Word applications.
·
Strong communication skills in
English (both written and spoken).
